June 30th Deadline for Next Year’s School Buses

Parents of incoming and returning Saint John’s students who wish to sign up for busing in 2012-2013 should do so as soon as possible.

If enough families register, Saint John’s will arrange a fee-based bus service, $800 per student, for residents of certain other Central Massachusetts and MetroWest towns. Registration Forms (Word Format) or (PDF Format) should be returned to the school by June 8. If fewer than 20 students register for any route, it will not be run and the full registration fee will be refunded.

Cars and carpools

Most students at Saint John’s High School drive to the campus or are driven by family members or carpools. At the beginning of the year, all Saint John’s families receive the “Redbook,” a listing of all students’ addresses and telephone numbers. This book may help in arranging carpools.

AA Transportation

Both Shrewsbury and Saint John’s contract with AA Transportation, a Shrewsbury-based company, to provide their buses. Concerns about bus service should be directed towards the Shrewsbury Public Schools for Shrewsbury riders, and the Saint John’s Dean of Students Office for all other riders.
