Overview
Saint John's plays in the Central Mass Conference, and schedules games against top teams from around the state. The regular season schedule has 22 games, followed by district and state playoffs. Regular season games are either 7 or 9 innings long; all playoff games are 9 innings.
Saint John's has two baseball fields for practices and games. The varsity field features professional style in-ground dugouts, an outfield fence, and an electronic scoreboard. Other facilities include an indoor/outdoor batting cage and indoor pitching mounds.

Equipment
Beginning on the first day of tryouts, players should be prepared to play indoors and outdoors. Players should bring a baseball hat, a baseball glove, and athletic footwear for indoor and outdoor use. Catchers should bring their personal equipment. Note that only BBCOR certified baseball bats can be used; the school will provide BBCOR bats for use during tryouts.
