SJLI #33 will occur 16-19 August and is open only to members of the class of 2011. Registration forms were due by 30 June. Anytime after that date, those wishing to attend should contact the director of campus ministry, at cgalligan@stjohnshigh.org, to reserve a spot on the waitlist.
Overview - A private Catholic secondary school founded by the Xaverian Brothers, Saint John's maintains an office of campus ministry responsible for providing opportunities to the school community for liturgy and prayer, retreats, service immersion experiences, and pastoral care. All offerings are in keeping with Roman Catholic teaching and the documents of the Xaverian Brothers--whose spirituality is Ignatian and whose charisms are zeal, humility, compassion, simplicity, and trust. Programs
Prayer and Liturgy - daily prayer, weekly Masses, and liturgies to mark
the feasts and seasons of the Church and school year
Pastoral Care - open to all students in the campus ministry offices
Retreats - Freshman, Storm, Kairos, Saint John's Leadership Institute, XBSS
Service - Weekly Local Community Service, National Day of Service,
