Levels
St. John’s fields three baseball teams: varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen.

Overview
Saint John's plays in the Central Mass Conference, and schedules games against top teams from around the state. The regular season schedule has 22 games, followed by district and state playoffs. Regular season games are either 7 or 9 innings long; all playoff games are 9 innings.

Saint John's has two baseball fields for practices and games. The varsity field features professional style in-ground dugouts, an outfield fence, and an electronic scoreboard. Other facilities include an indoor/outdoor batting cage and indoor pitching mounds.

Practices
The varsity and junior varsity teams practice six days a week. The freshman team typically practices Monday through Friday, although weekend practices are periodically scheduled.

Equipment
Beginning on the first day of tryouts, players should be prepared to play indoors and outdoors. Players should bring a baseball hat, a baseball glove, and athletic footwear for indoor and outdoor use. Catchers should also bring their equipment.
