During the winter sports season, the St. John’s Ski Club engages over 150 student participations at several major ski resorts in the New England state areas.  The club’s activities include a six week “after school ski program” at Wachusett Mountain, and four additional weekend trips to various resorts in Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire. Students with any interest in skiing or snowboarding are encouraged to participate in the club with the goal of enjoying the outdoors while fostering and developing new friendships.   

The Wachusett Ski Program is scheduled to begin immediately after Christmas break.  This program starts on the first Tuesday after Christmas vacation, and continues for six consecutive Tuesdays.  This 6 week ski program concludes on the week prior to February vacation. 

The Ski Club also takes one additional weekend trip each month (starting in December) to prime ski resorts, which includes one weekend overnight trip in the end of March.
