Senior athletes honored for their achievements

Saint John's actors receive recognition for work in theatrical productions
Peter Hodskins '13, Taylor Nardonne '13, and Luke Dombrowski '15 were recently recognized for their work with Theater at the Mount Youth Award (TAMY) "Best Featured Actor" nominations. The 2012-13 Saint John's productions Godspell and Guys and Dolls garnered nominations in six categories.

SJ runs and walks in solidarity with victims of the Boston Marathon

On Friday May 3, the SJ community gathered at the track to pay tribute to the Boston Marathon victims. Over 100 gathered to run a mile in honor of those affected by the tragedy. Math teacher Chris Benestad, who ran in the 2013 Boston Marathon, gave a talk at the start of the walk/run on the unbelievable solidarity and positivity that resulted not only in the Boston area but around the world.  

Students encounter faith and service on spring break immersion trips
Groups of students and faculty spent their spring breaks at sites across the country, engaging in service work and community outreach programs. A group of eight students led by Campus Minister Mike Nicholson and faculty member Timothy Williams spent February vacation building roads, painting fences, and making new friends in Haiti. They worked with the locally-founded organization Be Like Brit, an orphanage that is in its first months up and running in Grand Goâve, Haiti. See more photos here! Saint John's students also held a dress down day to sponsor the BeLikeBrit foundation that raised $3300!
