Boys of Promise. Men of Character. Brothers for Life.
As a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School, Saint John’s High School is rooted in the rich traditions of Roman Catholic education. Our mission
is to support the moral and spiritual development of young men, preparing them not only for success in college and in life – but also for meaningful lives in the service of God. At Saint John’s, we welcome boys from all faith traditions into a community that is intellectually challenging, emotionally supportive, and committed to an honest investigation of faith, meaning, and service. Thanks to the diversity of our student body, each boy learns how to cultivate his relationship with God, himself, and others, and gains a deep appreciation for the wide variety of spiritual and moral expressions that unite us in our shared humanity.
Our belief in the benefits of Catholic education fuels our commitment to developing the whole person. Students learn essential lessons of a Christian life in the classroom, on the athletic field, in extracurricular activities, and by joining together with other students in prayer and reflection. Saint John’s boys have earned a well-deserved reputation as respectful, upstanding members of a community that extends from the Worcester area to the wider world.
We build enduring relationships to foster outstanding character and achievement in our students. The persistent devotion and commitment of our faculty helps ensure that no student slips through the cracks, and that every boy in our school receives the attention and support he needs to succeed.
High expectations are balanced by care and compassion, giving our students the confidence to rise to their highest level of academic, athletic, artistic, and spiritual achievement. As a result, Saint John’s graduates advance in the workplace, serve as pillars in their community, and live as good and honorable husbands, fathers, friends, brothers, and citizens.
