Application Steps

List of 8 items.

  • Create a Ravenna Account

Saint John's uses Ravenna to manage the application process. Create a Ravenna account by submitting the Inquiry Form on our website.
  • Grade 9 Admissions Test

Saint John's utilizes the High School Placement Test (HSPT) to help guide decisions for initial 9th-grade level placement in addition to admission eligibility. This exam is required for students seeking 9th-grade admission in the fall of 2022. There is a $35 testing fee. If your student has taken the HSPT elsewhere, please request that a copy of the score report be sent to Saint John's.

Contact the Admissions Office at admissions@stjohnshigh.org or call 508-842-8934 ext. 266 to inquire about the exam for your student.
  • Application for Admission

Please complete the Application for Admission in Ravenna and pay the $40 application fee online.
  • Student Profile Photo

Please upload a current photo of your student to his profile in Ravenna, if possible.
  • Student Statement

The student should complete the student statement form in Ravenna, in his own words. This allows the admissions team to learn more about the applicant and why he would like to attend Saint John’s.
  • Parent Statement

The student's parent or guardian is asked to complete the parent statement form in Ravenna in order to help us get to know your family better.
  • School Transcripts

Saint John’s requires grades from the 2020-2021 school year along with the most recent report card from the 2021-2022 school year. A parent or guardian must print and sign the Transcript Release Form found in Ravenna and submit it to the applicant’s current school. The school will then send your student's transcripts directly to Saint John's.
  • Recommendation

The recommendation may come from a current teacher, counselor, or school administrator who knows the applicant well. In Ravenna, input the full name and email address of the person who has agreed to provide the recommendation on behalf of your student. A secure, unique link will be emailed to the delegated individual, allowing them to submit the completed form directly to Saint John’s. Only ONE recommendation is required.
