The application deadline for students entering grade 9 is December 15, 2021. Contact the Admissions Office at (508) 842-8934 ext. 266 or if you have any questions or concerns regarding the process.

  • Create a Ravenna Account

    Saint John's uses Ravenna to manage the application process. Create a Ravenna account by submitting the Inquiry Form on our website.
  • Grade 9 Admissions Test

    Saint John's utilizes the High School Placement Test (HSPT) to help guide decisions for initial 9th-grade level placement in addition to admission eligibility. This exam is required for students seeking 9th-grade admission in the fall of 2022. There is a $35 testing fee. If your student takes the HSPT elsewhere, please request that a copy of the score report be sent to the Admissions Office at Saint John's. 

    Registration for the Grade 9 Admissions Test is available in Ravenna as an application step. The approximately 3-hour exam will be administered at Saint John's on the following dates: 

    Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 8:30 AM
    Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 8:30 AM

  • Application for Admission

    The application deadline for grade 9 is December 15, 2021. Please complete the Application for Admission in Ravenna and pay the $40 application fee online. 
  • Student Profile Photo

    Please upload a current photo of your student to his profile in Ravenna, if possible.
  • Student Statement

    The student should complete the student statement form in Ravenna, in his own words. This allows the admissions team to learn more about the applicant and why he would like to attend Saint John’s.
  • Parent Statement

    The parent or guardian must complete the parent statement form in Ravenna in order to help us get to know your family better.
  • School Transcripts

    Saint John’s requires grades from the 2020-2021 school year along with the most recent report card from the 2021-2022 school year. A parent or guardian must print and sign the Transcript Release Form found in Ravenna and submit it to the applicant’s current school. The school will then send your student's transcripts directly to Saint John's. 
  • Recommendation

    The recommendation may come from a current teacher, counselor, or school administrator who knows the applicant well. In Ravenna, input the full name and email address of the person who has agreed to provide the recommendation on behalf of your student. A secure, unique link will be emailed to the delegated individual, allowing them to submit the completed form directly to Saint John’s. Only ONE recommendation is required.

High School Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition, including all fees, for new high school enrollment at Saint John's High School for the 2021-2022 school year is $17,170. Financial Aid may be available for those who qualify. More information on tuition and financial aid at Saint John's can be viewed here.

Applications for financial aid for the 2022-2023 school year will be available in Smart Aid beginning November 1, 2021. The deadline for grade 9 families to apply for financial aid is December 15, 2021. Please note, the application for financial aid in Smart Aid is separate from the application for admission in Ravenna.
