Thank you for your interest in grade 9 at Saint John's High School. Saint John's uses the online platform Ravenna to collect inquiries, manage the application process, and notify prospective families of important news and upcoming events. Submit an Inquiry Form to get started!

  • Create a Ravenna Account

    Saint John's uses Ravenna to manage the application process. Create a Ravenna account by submitting the Inquiry Form on our website.
  • Grade 9 Admissions Test

    Saint John's utilizes the High School Placement Test (HSPT) to help guide decisions for initial 9th-grade level placement in addition to admission eligibility. This exam is required for students seeking 9th-grade admission in the fall of 2021. There is a $35 testing fee.

    If your student takes the HSPT elsewhere, please request that a copy of the score report be sent to Admissions at Saint John's. 
  • Application for Admission

    Complete the Application for Admission in Ravenna and pay a $40 application fee. The application deadline for grade 9 is December 15, 2020. Contact the Admissions Office to determine if there is still available space in the class once the application deadline has passed. 
  • Student Statement

    The student should complete this form in Ravenna in his own words. This allows the admissions team to learn more about the applicant and why he would like to attend Saint John’s.
  • Parent Statement

    The parent or guardian must complete this form in Ravenna in order to help us get to know your family better.
  • School Transcripts

    Saint John’s requires grades from the last completed school year along with the most recent report card from the current academic year. A parent or guardian must print and sign the Transcript Request Form found in Ravenna and submit it to the applicant’s current school in order for the transcripts to be released to Saint John's. 
  • Recommendation

    The recommendation may come from a current teacher, counselor, or school administrator who knows the applicant well. In Ravenna, input the full name and email address of the person who has agreed to provide the recommendation, and a secure, unique link will be emailed directly to them. This allows the person to submit the completed recommendation form directly to Saint John’s. Only ONE recommendation is required.

High School Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition, including all fees, for high school enrollment at Saint John’s for the 2020-2021 school year is $16,170. 

Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. There is a separate application for financial aid through Smart Aid. The Financial Aid Committee will consider applications submitted after the December 15 deadline, but as funds are limited, it is advised that you apply as soon as possible.
