Saint John’s invites prospective students to participate in our shadow visit program. Shadow visits are designed to give visitors the opportunity to experience a typical day at the school by shadowing a current Saint John's student. Visitors are matched with a host student who has a similar academic profile and extracurricular interests. Families may request a particular student provided they are an appropriate host for their scheduled shadow day.
Shadow visitors should report to the Admissions Office at 8:00 a.m. in full dress code, which includes a dress shirt, tie, sport coat, dress pants, shoes, socks, and a belt. They will attend a full day of classes and receive a complimentary lunch in the cafeteria. Students may bring their own lunch, if preferred. Visiting students should be picked up at the Admissions Office once the school day concludes at 2:18pm.
Shadow dates are available to reserve from December through April and the number of visitors per day is limited to five. All eigth grade students who have submitted an application will have the opportunity to participate in the Shadow Program. Transfer students are welcome to participate as well.
