SJ takes down Catholic Memorial on the Road

SJ Middle School Soccer traveled to Catholic Memorial this afternoon. Gabe Devaney ‘25 kicked off the scoring with a well placed 30 yard direct kick over the keepers head. CM countered with a goal just a few minutes later to make it 1-1 at the end of the first quarter. CM then found the net two more times before the halftime to put SJ down 1-3. SJ came out with a ton of energy in the 2nd half and scored 3 goals in the 3rd quarter. James Blais ‘26 found the net first assisted by JP Devaney ‘25. Then JP again assisted, but this time it was his brother Gabe Devaney ‘25 for a nice goal inside the 6. The go ahead goal was scored by James Blais ‘26 from a great one touch cross by, once again, JP Devaney ‘25. SJ Middle School moves to 2-0!
