Pioneers Advance to 7-0

After another win over the BC High on Thursday evening, the 7th grade soccer team advanced their season record to 7-0. The Pioneers defeated the Eagles with a 5-1 victory that was a masterclass in ball control. The team moved the ball well and had beautiful through-ball passes to set up for a number of goals. Striker Danny Kristos started the scoring early into the first half, with Javan Premraj on the assist. Arin Patel had a picturesque goal off a perfectly-placed cross from Kristos. Center midfielders Vincent Plante and Jake Caldon took turns scoring and assisting one another for the third and fourth goals, respectively, to end the first half with a 4-0 lead. BC High fought hard in the second half to hold the Pioneers to one goal, earned by Kristos after speeding by each defender and finding the back of the net.
