Saint John's celebrates the arts

Student artists, musicians, and performers showcased their work from this year.

In spite of a springtime downpour, Founders Hall was overflowing with color, art, and music for the 2017 Spring Arts Festival on Friday, May 5, 2017.

In new performance and studio spaces, the arts at Saint John's High School are thriving, and as the year winds down, students were eager to display their work.

Art students prepared gallery-style displays and organized interactive, live art projects for friends and guests, the Audio Production Club helped fill the Remillard Atrium and Robert R. Jay Performing Arts Center with sounds from acts including SJ A Cappella, jazz and string ensembles, and talented solo performers. The Improv Club entertained friends, family, and faculty with audience-inspired comedy.

Throughout the year, Saint John's Drama puts together dramatic and musical productions in the Performing Arts Center and Black Box Theater with the help of talented cast, crew, and directors.

In addition to dozens of musical performances from Symphonic Concert Band to SJ Chorus, SJ Live Acoustic Concerts allow musically-inclined students to refine their talents and expand passions for music in a variety of ways.
