Good morning St. John’s students, faculty and staff. Let us pause in our day to pray with one of the doctors of the Church, Saint Peter Chrysologus, which means "of the golden words”. As Bishop of Ravenna he taught that to be fully human is to expand our knowledge—whether sacred or secular—according to our God given talent and opportunity. Let us take a moment to reflect on how we use St. Johns school, this temple of knowledge to acquire knowledge and ask God’s grace to use it for greater good of all

(pause)

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Breathe into me, Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.
Move in me, Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Attract my heart, Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy.
Strengthen me, Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy.
Protect me, Holy Spirit, that I may always be holy.
We ask this in your Holy name. Amen

Thank you and have a holy day
