A Message from the Parents Fund Chairs

In an ever-changing world, a foundation in catholic education has become more important than ever. At Saint John’s, our sons become grounded in a solid moral and academic education that will serve them throughout their lifetime.

Saint John’s, as a private catholic high school, depends upon our alumni, friends and especially our parents for support.  The Parent Fund seeks to contribute $200,000 to the overall Annual Fund by June 30, 2019. This, in turn, positions Saint John’s to offer a holistic and diverse experience for our sons. Your support of the Saint John’s Parent Fund allows us to keep Saint John’s affordable for all families and enhances your son's experience during these pivotal four years.

As co-chairs of this year’s Parent Fund, we ask that you consider a contribution that makes an investment in our school. A high participation rate in the Parent Fund sends a strong statement about our belief in the mission of Saint John’s. A gift at any level enriches the intellectual, social and personal development of each of our students.

Saint John's is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and your gifts are tax deductible. Many employers will match your gift. Please ask your company’s human resource department for a matching gift form and double your impact.

God bless you and your family.

Did You Know?

Cost to educate a student per year = $18,000

Tuition and Fees for each student per year = $14,050

This "gap" is intentional in order to remain affordable and accessible to as many families as possible. The annual difference of $3,950 is planned for and met through contributions to the Annual Fund/Parents Fund, the school's endowment, and auxiliary enterprises including the Annual Gala, the Alumni Golf Tournament, Bookstore and Raffle Drive.

NONE (0%) of our tuition funds Financial Aid.
NONE (0%) of our tuition has paid for the construction of Conal Hall, Salem Student Commons, Ryken, Founders, the Gregory Academic Center or any of our many capital improvements on campus.
100% of our NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID is funded by the Annual Fund and our Endowment.

Your involvement helps make the well-rounded SJ education a reality.
