A Tradition of Success

The Saint John’s baseball program has a tradition of success. Competing in Massachusetts’ highest division, the program has won four state championships - most recently in 2017.

In 2015, 2016, and  2017, the Pioneers were selected for the MIAA Division 1A Super 8 Invitational - winning the Super 8 championship in 2017.  The team has also competed in 6 Division 1 State Championship games -- winning the D1 State Championship 3 times.  Since 1990, the team has won 20 League Championships and 8 District Championships.

Saint John's plays in the Central Mass Conference and schedules games against top teams from around the state. The regular season schedule has 22 games followed by participation in one of the MIAA post-season tournaments.

The Pioneers field three baseball teams: varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen.  There are two baseball fields for practices and games.  The varsity field features professional style in-ground dugouts, a stadium style seating concourse, mens & womens bathrooms, and an electronic scoreboard. Other facilities include indoor and outdoor batting cages and indoor pitching mounds.
