Athletics: Volleyball Assistant Coach (Spring 2027)

Saint John’s is a private college-preparatory school for boys founded in 1898 in Worcester, MA, and moved to its present location in Shrewsbury, MA, in 1961. The school, sponsored by the congregation of Saint Francis Xavier (Xaverian Brothers), enrolls approximately 950 day students in grades seven through twelve from nearly 70 communities in Massachusetts.

Position Description

Saint John’s High School is seeking a qualified Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach for the Spring 2027 Season. Previous coaching experience and playing experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an Assistant Volleyball Coach and be able to collaborate with other coaches in the development of the team
  • Develop a seasonal curriculum to help nurture the athletes’ abilities and fitness levels.
  • Show a commitment to team values and priorities.
  • Provide a fun, safe, and educational experience for all athletes.
  • Be willing to collaborate with other coaching staff and training resources.
  • Must attend all games and practices, including weekend events.
Must have or willing to get:
  • Current CPR and First Aid
