Good morning Saint John’s students, faculty and staff.  Let us pause in our day to pray. In today's readings the disciples encounter the risen Lord Jesus in the ordinariness of their work. We pray that we will be attentive for the Lord who is constantly coming to meet us in the ordinariness of our day.
-pause-
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Dear loving  God, Grant us the strength to overcome life’s greatest challenges. Give us the wisdom to do the right things when they are needed. Teach us to understand ourselves and to believe in the effectiveness of your saving grace in our everyday life. Give us the courage to face our problems and not make excuses for them. Open our eyes to identify your presence in our life.  We ask this in your divine name. Amen.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
