SJ Wins Big in Season Opener

SJ kicked off the season by hosting Catholic Memorial on Thursday afternoon. Andy Lau started off the scoring assisted by Max Morales on a break away where he beat the goalkeeper and buried it in the first 5 minutes of the game. Bendan Plourde had his own break away a few minutes later to make it 2-0. Walt Dobecki was assisted by Andy Lau through the box for a nice goal. Lastly before halftime, Sebastian Burke had another break away to make it 4-1 at the half. In the second half, Dom Coccia rounded out the scoring with another nice assist from Max Morales to make the final score 5-1. SJ will travel to St. John's Prep on Tuesday.
