Pioneers Defeat Prep 6-3

The 7th grade Pioneers were victorious over St. John's Prep with a 6-3 win at Pioneer Field on Thursday. The teams battled through rainy conditions throughout the whole game. While the Prep fought hard until the final whistle, they could not hold off the offensive attack led by Danny Kristo and Eli White. Saint John's got on the board early with back-to-back goals scored by White after textbook crosses from Kristo. Arin Patel and Adam Somerset each logged an assist for goals by David DaSilva and a third for White.  Kristo scored a pair of goals for the Pioneers early in the second half to bring the lead to 6-1. The Eagles fought hard in the second half and found the back of the net two more times to finish the game at 6-3.
