Big win for SJ on the Road

Coach Smith
Saint John's 8th Grade Soccer Team traveled to St. Sebastian's on Tuesday and came home with a big win. They went up 4-0 fairly quickly in the first half. Javan Premaj buried the first goal after fielding the rebound off of a missed shot by Danny Kristo. Danny then also found the back of a net from a nice assist by Eli White played across the box on the ground. Arin Patel contributed the 3rd goal off of a nice left footed shot from the far right corner of the box over the head and into the far corner of the net. The last goal of the first half was by Eli White with a simple tap in past the goal keeper.

In the second half, Eli White found the net again with his off foot followed by Danny Kristo to make the score 6-0. St. Sebastian's did get one goal in the middle of the second half off of a breakdown of the Saint John's defense. The final score was 6-1 and Saint John's will face a rematch on the road at BC High on Thursday.
