SJ Takes Down BC High at Home

The 8th grade Saint John's Soccer Team hosted BC High on Tuesday. BC High started off the scoring when they got in behind the SJ defense and scored on a break away.

Danny Kristo, equalized the score when he beat the goalkeeper and was able to tap the ball in on his own break away.

BC High then went up 2-1 after a nice upper 90 goal out of the reach of the SJ goalkeeper Alex Geshwiler.

Danny Kristo then scored his second goal, another breakaway where he buried it with his right foot past the BC High Goal Keeper to equalize the scoring 2-2 at the half.

Eli White then scored to make it 3-2 on an assist from Danny Kristo. Danny then followed that up with a goal himself from the right side to make it 4-2.

BC High then scored off of a set piece to make the score 4-3. 

Eli White recieved a great ball from Rory Andrew where he beat the keeper on a breakaway to make the score 5-3.

BC High in the waning minutes of the game scored two quick goals to equalize the score at 5-5.

Finally, Danny Kristo had a break away and the BC High goalkeeper made a nice save, but SJ kept the ball in play. Rory Andrew was able to touch the ball past the keeper in the final minute of the game to make the final score 6-5.
