Good morning Saint John’s!  Let us pause in our day to pray.
Today we continue to pray Pope Francis’ “five finger prayer.”  The fourth finger is the ring finger.  Even though it may surprise you, it is our weakest finger.  It should remind us to pray for the weakest, the sick, or those plagued by problems.  They need your prayers.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Almighty and most merciful God,
We remember before you all poor and neglected persons whom it would be easy for us to forget:
The homeless and the destitute, the old and the sick, and all who have none to care for them.
Comfort and protect these people, Lord,
And inspire us with your love to help heal those who are broken in body or spirit,
And to turn their sorrow into joy.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Thank you and have a phenomenal day!
