7th Grade Soccer Season Opener

The 7th grade soccer team started the season off strong with a victory over St. John's Prep. The Pioneers started the attack early with David DaSilva finding the back of the net five minutes into the game. Shortly after, Eli White scored giving the team a 2-0 lead that they held through the remainder of the first half. Following halftime, Saint John's continued the offensive attack with Arin Patel sneaking the ball past the Prep's goalie with a perfectly placed shot. Minutes later, White and DaSilva each earned their second goals to bring the lead to 5-0. Goalie Eli Peck posted a shut out for the first three quarters of the game with help from his defenders. Though SJP snuck one shot past goalie Farzaad Hussain, he made multiple big saves to keep the opponents to one goal. After coming out of net, Peck scored the final goal for the Pioneers with about ten minutes remaining. Each team fought hard to the end of the game, which ended in a 6-1 win for Saint John's.
