SJ falls to a tough Xaverian squad at home

Coach Smith
SJ hosted Xaverian this afternoon at home. Xaverian came out strong and possessed the majority of the playin the first half. They found the back of the next with about 10 minutes left in the first half to make it 1-0 heading into halftime. In the 2nd half, they scored a second goal from a long distance shot over the goalie to make it 2-0 but SJ was starting to make a comeback. That momentum grew through a PK that was taken and buried by James Blais ‘26 with 3:07 remaining in the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter was hard fought with a handful of chances by SJ to equalize the score but they just couldn’t get it done today and the final score was 2-1 Xaverian.
