SJ Falls to Xaverian

Coach Smith
Xaverian came to play on Thursday for the last game of the season against Saint John's 8th Grade Soccer. SJ went up quick with 2 goals right off the bat. Brendan Hamann scored off of a corner kick and then Brendan Plourde scored a few minutes later on an assist from Parbi Abbeyquaye. Before halftime, Jake Caldon was assisted by Andy Lau off of a nice cross by Max Morales to make the score 3-2 heading into halftime.

In the second half, it was a back-and-forth battle with each team scoring one after the other. Brendan Hamann scored his second goal on an assist from Andy. The last goal scored by SJ was from Sebi Burke off of a corner where Brendan Hamann just missed the header when it hit the post and Sebi finished it. In the end, Xaverian found the net one more time despite many chances hitting posts or sides of the net by SJ leaving the final score at 6-5.
