Good morning, St. John’s students, faculty, and staff. Let us pause in our day to pray. We pray in thanksgiving for God’s merciful love.  May each one of us remember that God is both loving and forgiving; it is never too late to return to Him if we have wandered away.
(pause)
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Jesus, give me the strength
To forgive and forget
To do the right thing even if it isn’t popular
To turn my anger into productivity
To resist our society’s temptations
To be your instrument in whatever way best
To remember that I am human
To keep You my priority over
All of life’s other issues and
To look beyond myself to really see You
Because as long as I put my own worries,
Thoughts, and pleasures before my faith in You,
I will have nothing. In Jesus’ name Amen.

Thank you and have a wonderful day
