Good morning Saint John’s students, faculty and staff. Let us pause in our day to pray. Today we pray for the people of California who lost their loved ones, homes, and possessions in the wildfire. May God watch over and protect them as well as the firefighters and first responders to help all those in need.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Father of mercy,
You always answer your people in their sufferings.
We thank you for your kindness
And ask you to free us from all evil,
That we may serve you in happiness all our days.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
One God forever and ever. Amen.
