SJ Middle School Red Beats CM on the Road

The Saint John's Middle School Red Team traveled to Catholic Memorial this afternoon. Aryav Preejith '30 kicked off the scoring on a second effort when the keeper saved the first attempt. He beat the keeper high far post. Frankie Lacombe '30 scored next, hitting a shot from 20 yards out to beat the keeper over the top. Karas Tadrous '30 scored next off a header on an excellent cross by Connor Gerardi '31. Ari Kristo '31 was the next to score off an assist from Frankie Lacombe '30. Matteo Qirko '30 scored on a solo effort. Aryav Preejith '30 scored his second goal next on his own. Matteo Qirko '30 then scored his second goal from 18 yards out to the upper right hand corner of the net. Bentley '30 scored the last two goals. The first was assisted by John Maloney '30 where Bentley then beat the keeper low far post. The last goal was assisted by Ryan Nazarey '31. The final score was 9-1 and the SJ Red Team will host BC High next Tuesday.
