Good morning St. John’s students, faculty, and staff. Let us pause in our day to pray with St. Sergius of Radonezh.
We lift up today all those who work with and for the poorest people in our world, as well as those who fight for their freedom.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
Gracious God, today we pray for the Russian Orthodox Church, who particularly reveres St. Sergius. We ask you to watch over our Christian brothers and sisters who are scattered throughout the world and especially in those areas plagued by violence. Help us feel compassion and love for the least fortunate among us, like your servant St. Sergius. Through your Son’s name, we pray. Amen.
