Good morning Saint John’s students, faculty and staff.  Let us pause in our day to pray. In today’s first reading, the Apostle John uses the word "love" nine times. Love is of God - it comes from him. In fact, God is love. If we love others, we have been begotten by God and we know God. During this season of Epiphany, let us ask our God to pour the light of wisdom and discernment into our minds and hearts so that we learn how to love.
(Pause)
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Loving God, you call us all to a relationship with you and with your Son.  May we always draw closer to you in love, and invite others to know you better through our words and deeds.  We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Thank you and have a joyful day.
