Good morning Saint John’s students, faculty and staff. Let us pause in our day to pray. We pray in a special way for our junior Noah Long for his speedy recovery and good health after a weeklong stay at the hospital.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Dear God, nothing is hopeless knowing you are near.
The darkest night cannot hide your saving light.
In our heavy moods, we forget at times,
how much you love us,
how truly near you are,
even though you may feel distant.
We neglect to look up and see your light,
to see your presence in the events of my life.
Why should we fear when you can say the word and things can become better?
“Let there be light,” you said, and there was.
Grant me the grace of deep-seated hope.
In your Holy Name, we pray. Amen
