SJ ties BC High on the road

Coach Collins
The 7th Grade team took the field for their first away game of the season to face BC High. The Pioneers held control of most of the first half, but didn’t find the back of the net. Keeper Nolan Ouellette helped keep the game scoreless after the first thirty minutes. The squad came out fighting in the second half and capitalized on a corner kick. Max Morales sent the ball into play and found Brendan Plourde, who netted the ball to send the Pioneers up 1-0. The next twenty minutes were well-fought on both sides and with minutes left in the game BC High tied things up. While Saint John’s was eager to come away with a win, time expired with the score tied at 1-1.
