SJ Takes Down Xaverian in Season Opener

SJ kicked off the 2023 season with a win on the road at Xaverian. Danny Kristo kicked off the scoring with two quick goals in the first half. One from the top left corner of the 18 yard box and the other from 25 yards out from the same side. Both over powering the Xaverian goalkeeper. Eli White then followed with with a hard shot from the right corner of the 6 yard box to give SJ the 3-0 lead. In the second half both Xaverian and SJ scored. Danny Kristo served a ball from a set piece 35 yards out to the right to find Eli White on a diagonal run behind the defenders at the top of the 6 yard box. SJ will be back in action when they host St. John's Prep at home on Thursday.
