SJ beats Belmont Hill on the Road

The Saint John’s 8th grade team traveled to Belmont Hill on Wednesday afternoon. Eli White kicked off the scoring in the first 5 minutes with a long shot from almost the corner flag that went far side netting beating the keeper over the top. A few minutes later, Danny Kristo took on 3 defenders down the right side, cut it back and then finished it with his left foot near post through traffic. Arin Patel scored next on a nice volley off of a corner from Eli White. In the second half, Belmont Hill pushed back. Scoring two goals to come within one but SJ held strong and finish the game 3-2. SJ will travel to St. John’s Prep on Tuesday.
