Pioneers race to a 15th place finish at the Division 1A State Meet
Under blue skies on a cool crisp morning over a hilly 5k course at Gardner Municipal Golf Course the SJ Pioneers raced to a 15th place finish with 431 points in the Division 1A State Meet.
Leading the way for the harriers (as he has done all year) while qualifying for next week’s All State meet was senior co-captain Tommy Robinson who finished 25th in a time of 16:47.3.
Following Robinson was sophomore Luke Depeter who ran a competitive race in 17:49.4 to finish 69th.
Rounding out the scoring for the Pioneer thinclads was junior Teddy Morris in 18:41.3, senior Teddy Conboy in 18:56 and junior Jason Malo in 19:34
Next Saturday, November 18 the team will travel to Fort Devens to cheer on and support Tommy Robinson as he competes in the season ending All State at 12:30 PM.
