MIAA D1 State Championships - Race Summary

Tommy Robinson competes at the All State D1 meet.
Under perfect weather conditions at the spectator friendly Willard Field in Devens MA, senior co-captain Tommy Robinson competed in his final high school cross country race at the highly competitive All State D1 meet.
Being the only Pioneer to qualify in last week’s D1 A race in Gardner, MA Robinson raced to a 17:02.74 time over a challenging 5k course securing a 78th place finish.
The race capped a brilliant and noteworthy career for Robinson who has been the top runner for St. John’s since his freshman year.
While winning many Catholic Conference dual meets and placing high in conference championships and selected invitationals throughout his career, Robinson, with a career best 5k of 16:02, has secured a place among the elite harriers who have competed for the Pioneers over the years.
