It’s Raffle time again at Saint John’s High School!

From September 22 through October 13, our student body will be selling raffle tickets to support the school’s financial aid program. This annual raffle drive supports nearly 10% of Saint John’s financial aid budget, which topped $1.3M this year. Saint John’s “as a Christian community, founded upon the idea of the interdependence of individual members…with mutual obligations,” uses this annual effort to bring to life this aspect of its mission statement for its students and allow our Pioneers to band together to help make a difference in the lives of nearly 350 classmates, teammates, and friends who are currently receiving need-based financial aid from the school.

This year’s goal is $110,000, equating to just over one book sold per student. Students will have the opportunity to earn two possible days off from school. If the student body, as a whole, reaches 70% of its goal by Thursday, October 5, their day off will be Friday, October 6; and if 100% is reached by Friday, October 13, the day off will be the Monday following Thanksgiving, November 27. Students can earn individual prizes on a weekly basis and also be entered into a raffle for 50% off tuition for each book sold.

Tickets are $10 each. Questions regarding this year’s raffle can be directed to Mr. Warren Hayden ’81, Director of Alumni Relations at whayden@stjohnshigh.org.

Below are the prizes for this year’s raffle:

  • First Prize: $2,000
